Crisis Counseling

I don’t accept insurance in order to protect your privacy, reduce limitations on care, and provide a more personalized, flexible therapeutic experience. Working outside of insurance allows us to focus on your unique needs without the constraints of a diagnosis or session limits.

If you have health insurance, I recommend reaching out to your provider to ask if you have out-of-network mental health benefits. If so, I can provide you with a superbill a detailed receipt of services that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement of all or part of your session fees.

To make the most of your benefits, here are a few helpful questions to ask when speaking with your insurance provider:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?

  • Does this coverage include telehealth services?

  • What percentage of each session is reimbursed?

  • Is there an out-of-network deductible? If so:

    • What is the amount?

    • Have I met my deductible for the year?

  • How many therapy sessions are covered annually?

  • What is the process for submitting a superbill?

Knowing this information upfront can help you feel more empowered as you invest in your healing.

Let me know if you need a superbill or help navigating this process. I’m happy to support you.
