Meet Sophie

Hi there! I’m the founder of That’s So Therapy, PLLC and Therapist for the High-Achieving Adults and Millennial Professionals Healing from Childhood Trauma.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps high-achieving adults, including Millennial professionals heal from childhood and relationship trauma, perfectionism, and burnout. Many of my clients look successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected inside..

I know what it’s like to live in constant overdrive, the pressure to perform, the fear of disappointing others, and the quiet exhaustion of carrying unspoken pain. Therapy with me is a space to unlearn survival mode and reconnect with the parts of yourself that never got to rest.

Whether you’re struggling with perfectionism, anxiety, or burnout, you deserve to feel safe, grounded, and worthy, without having to prove anything first.

In our work together, I show up as compassionate, direct, and deeply human. I’ll help you name and release the patterns that once kept you safe, like overachieving, people-pleasing, or avoiding conflict, so you can experience emotional freedom and authentic connection.

My approach blends trauma-informed therapy, attachment work, and nervous-system regulation, all grounded in cultural awareness. Yes, I’ll challenge you with care, because growth doesn’t happen in comfort.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start, you just need the courage to show up. Healing begins the moment you decide you deserve more than survival.

How I Got Here

Before launching That’s So Therapy, PLLC, I worked in Psychiatric Intensive Care, supporting individuals through crisis and trauma recovery. That experience taught me that true healing happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported, not pathologized.

I founded That’s So Therapy, PLLC to create that kind of space: one where you don’t have to explain why you’re tired, or justify why you need help. You just get to be human.

Today, I specialize in helping High- Achieving professionals heal from childhood trauma, break cycles of perfectionism, and build emotional balance that lasts.

What You Can Expect From Me

  • A therapy space where you don’t have to shrink, mask, or perform

  • A therapist who understands how culture, identity, and early experiences shape your mental health

  • A balance of emotional exploration and practical tools for daily life

  • Support to break generational patterns and build self-trust without shame

My Commitment to the Work

In our work together, I show up as compassionate, direct, and deeply human. I believe healing doesn't always have to be heavy; laughter, rest, and a good playlist count as medicine too. I bring humor, humanity, and heart into my sessions because therapy should feel like real life: meaningful, messy, and full of grace.
